JAPANESE ANIMATION

I’ve never been a big fan of cartoons. When I was a kid I just played with my toys, like cars or buses. However, one day I discovered a television series that changed my behavior.

This series was Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball is a japanese television series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama, and his first episode dates from 1984.

I loved Dragon Ball because Gokú, the protagonist of the series, was really lovable.

Gokú was a kid that looked for the dragon balls to save the world from the evil forces.

Watching Dragon Ball was the principal activity of my weekends when I was ten years old. Also, this served to spend more time with my brother.

I think that most valuable characteristic of anime are the beauty of their graphics. Also, I like the force of their stories, which have many characters.

However, I don’t like people that are captured for the oriental culture. I think that young people must to have a great respect for his culture. I think that many young people don´t know the history and tradition of their own country. I’d like that more Chilean people go to museums.

About Disney cartoons I think that these are too technical. However I have watched a lot of their films.

Finally, I think the Chilean television should produce their cartoons. There is a lot of national topic that could to be taken, like: mapuche stories, the biography of the poets, and the history of the independence.

Especially I would like to see a cartoon about the poet Pablo Neruda, because I think his life and work are very exciting.

the environment protection is essential for the life of the humanity

I think that the environment protection is essential for the life of the humanity, but the reality says that the environment has been killed for the people. This problem has caused a great danger for the health of the world.

I think that the environment protection is a political problem, because the conditions that the world presents have been acquired for the impact to the capitalist system.  The great cities, the great factories, and the exploitation of nature are the principal causes to destruction of forests and natural resources.

For this reasons I think that is unnecessary contribute money to organizations like Greenpeace, or others. I think that environment protection is a mission that reflects the state. However, this don’t want says that I’m a  passive man about the problem the environment destruction.  I’m participle of the environment protection whit a lot of attitudes every day, like: try to use very few bags in the market, not throwing trash on the ground, but throwing it in recycling dumpsters, and ever trying to say to my fiends the importance that has the environment protection.

I think that the government doesn’t give necessary information about the problem of environment. The secretariat of environment just was created in 2010. This date reflect that the authorities taken conscience about the magnitude of the problem recently. 

Finally, I’d like to say that I’m a fanatic of bicycles. I have one since 2010 and it is my treasure. My bike is red and is very great. I bought it used to a beautiful woman. I use very lot my bike, but use it is very difficult and danger because the streets don’t has especially spaces to the bikers.

The music of the 60

I think that the music is one of the activities more important in the life. Dancing and singing are the activities more entertainment in all cultures of the world. For this reasons I have a great number of songs in my PC and my mp3 player. Respect the music of 60 I don’t know very lot, but I know that this years have been very relevant for the history of the music.

Between the bands that I know, the most relevant is The Beatles. This band marked the way of the music. The photo of their album “Abbey road” is one of the most striking of the history, and has a meaning very high in the modern culture.

My favorite song of The Beatles is “Michelle”, because I think that his lyrics is very simple for says the feelings for this woman called “Michelle”. Simplicity is the most admirable of this style of music. Other characteristic that I admire of this style of music is the large number of instruments that it uses.

Other reason that makes to love the music of ’60 is the free spirit that it has. The movement of the “hippies” always is accompanied for happy music.

However, this style of music is not usually in my life. For this reason, I would like to know more bands and read more about this style. 

London 2012: synchronised swimming tickets oversold

The ticketing has been one of the greatest problems for the organizers of the Olympic Games of London 2012. This great sporting event will start in august, but now it is presents an important problem about the ticketing for synchronized swimming.

London 2012 organizers have admitted that sold 20.000 tickets, but just there are 10.000 available seats. The organizers recognized that the overbooking was caused by human error in the computer system.

"As a result of finalizing the seating configurations in our venues and reconciling the millions of Olympic and Paralympics ticket orders against the seating plans for around 1,000 sporting sessions, we have discovered an error in seats available in four synchronized swimming sessions," said a London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Locog) spokesman.

To solve this important problem, the organizers have already called to 3000 of the 10000 affected, and have offered them tickets to any other sport.

Most affected customers have accepted the offer, because the new tickets are very exclusive for watching sports. However, still need to contact 7000 customers who are not aware that their tickets are invalid.

However, the organizers have said that the ticketing process have been correct in other sports. Also, they announced that in April they will sell the last 1.2 million tickets available.

I’d like to go to Paraguay, a mysterious place

I love the countries of Latin-American, because I think that all this countries has very similar elements, like culture, music, and political history. For this reasons, I would like to know one country every year, especially in South America.

The last year I have been in four countries of South America: Perú, Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina. This was the most beautiful travel of my life, and I want repeat it this summer.

The country that I want to know this summer is Paraguay, because I think that it is the most mysterious and eccentric place of the region. The people in Paraguay speak Spanish and guaraní, his native language. The culture guaraní have great force in the society, and have an important influence in the people.

Paraguay is the only country of South America (with Bolivia) that doesn’t have sea, and his more important city is Asunsión. The second city in importance is Ciudad del Este, the city with more illegal activities of the region. In this city people don’t practice the laws, and the police is very corrupted. For this reasons I would like to go to Ciudad del Este to make very easy money and live happy.
